Collector's Note: Produced in 1969, this clock dates to the period immediately following the 1968 federal crackdown on radium-luminous consumer products. As manufacturers phased out radioactive lume in favor of safer alternatives, clocks from this transition era became a unique part of horological history. The original luminous hands on this example still register as radioactive on a Geiger counter.

Clock will tick but it stops.  Alarm rings.  Clock is wound, and it needs to be serviced.  I think with a little oil and a little love it can be brought back to life.

Add a fun piece of advertising nostalgia to your collection with this vintage StarKist Charlie the Tuna alarm clock, featuring the iconic mascot and original 1969 StarKist Foods artwork. The clock retains its charming character graphics and still displays a bright glow under UV light, making it an eye-catching display piece for collectors of advertising memorabilia, vintage kitchen items, and retro clocks.

The classic twin-bell design showcases Charlie holding his famous "Sorry Charlie" sign, a beloved advertising campaign that became part of American pop culture. The luminous clock hands continue to glow, adding extra visual appeal whether displayed in a collection room, office, or vintage-themed décor.
