Collector's Note: Produced in 1969, this clock dates to the period immediately following the 1968 federal crackdown on radium-luminous consumer products. As manufacturers phased out radioactive lume in favor of safer alternatives, clocks from this transition era became a unique part of horological history. The original luminous hands on this example still register as radioactive on a Geiger counter.
Clock will tick but it stops. Alarm rings. Clock is wound, and it needs to be serviced. I think with a little oil and a little love it can be brought back to life.
